Partnership Guidelines
1. Compliance with Laws and Standards
All partners must comply with applicable local, national, and international laws, including those related to labor, taxation, anti-corruption, human rights, environmental protection, and data privacy. Where Globalgood standards exceed local requirements, we expect partners to strive to meet our higher expectations in good faith.
2. Ethical Conduct and Integrity
Globalgood has zero tolerance for fraud, bribery, corruption, money laundering, modern slavery, or unethical business practices. Partners must conduct all business activities with honesty, fairness, and integrity, and promptly report any actual or suspected violations.
3. Human Rights and Inclusion
We expect partners to uphold and promote the dignity, safety, and well-being of all people. This includes:
- Prohibiting any form of forced labor, child labor, or human trafficking
- Supporting fair and inclusive hiring practices
- Fostering environments free from harassment, abuse, and discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, religion, or other protected characteristics
4. Environmental Responsibility
Partners should demonstrate a commitment to minimizing environmental harm by adopting responsible practices in resource use, waste management, carbon footprint reduction, and climate-conscious operations wherever possible.
5. Transparency and Financial Stewardship
All funds, in-kind resources, or benefits received from or administered on behalf of Globalgood must be used strictly for agreed-upon purposes. Partners must maintain accurate financial records and make them available for audit or review when required. Misuse of funds may result in partnership termination and legal action.
6. Safeguarding and Do No Harm
Partners must have safeguards in place to prevent and respond to exploitation, abuse, or harm affecting children, vulnerable adults, or community members. Any incidents must be reported to Globalgood immediately and handled in alignment with our safeguarding policies.
7. Communications and Brand Representation
Partners may not use Globalgood’s name, logo, or branding without prior written consent. Any joint communications, promotional content, or public statements must be reviewed and approved by Globalgood in advance to ensure alignment with our mission and messaging.
8. Confidentiality and Data Protection
Partners are expected to respect the confidentiality of non-public information shared in the course of our partnership and comply with data protection standards, especially when handling personal or sensitive information of program participants, staff, or donors.
9. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL)
Globalgood values transparency, accountability, and learning. Partners must support monitoring and evaluation processes that ensure program quality, impact, and continuous improvement. This may include periodic reporting, site visits, data sharing, or participation in learning initiatives.
10. Reporting Concerns
Partners are encouraged to report misconduct, risks, or grievances via Globalgood’s established reporting channels. Reports may be submitted anonymously and will be handled with confidentiality and care. No person will face retaliation for making a good-faith report.
11. Termination of Partnership
Globalgood reserves the right to suspend or terminate a partnership if these guidelines are violated, especially where there is evidence of misconduct, noncompliance, reputational risk, or harm to beneficiaries or communities.
12. Acknowledgment and Commitment
All partners will be asked to review, acknowledge, and commit to these guidelines as a condition of entering into or continuing a partnership with Globalgood. By doing so, they affirm their commitment to uphold the values we share.
13. Changes and Updates
Globalgood reviews these Partnership Guidelines regularly to ensure they remain aligned with our values, legal obligations, and evolving standards in ethical collaboration. We may update this document from time to time to reflect changes in law, organizational policy, partner expectations, or global best practices.
Any updates will be published on our official website and take effect immediately upon posting unless otherwise stated. Where appropriate, we may notify key partners directly of significant changes. We encourage all partners to consult the most current version periodically to remain informed of their responsibilities and our shared expectations.
